Outreach is an active and important part of Londesborough United!
“for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” “Assuredly I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it for Me.”
Matthew 25:35-40
The outreach committee is once again eager to get busy on our Annual Easter collection of non-perishable foods and personal hygiene products for the Huron County Food Distribution Centre. We will place containers in the narthex for collection on March 3rd, March 10th and March 17th. We hope you will be as generous as you are able in order to assist those less blessed, unfortunately those numbers seem to keep rising. We thank you sincerely for your generosity the last couple of years and look forward to your support of this very necessary project again this year.
By planning events with IN our congregation, OUT in our community and AROUND the world, we strive to live out Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:35-40 and we continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of our church family!
